I knitted these lace socks. I got the lace stitching pattern, entitled "I be leaf!" out of the
Joy of Sox which I borrowed from
Ariel. I winged the size and shaping though. I think they turned out quite lovely.
I got the Yarn from an antique mall in Sedalia, Missouri. This is why the color seems so retro. Its called "Jade", back when the lot number only had to be characterized by "FH". Sounds like there were a couple hundred of these skeins floating around back when these were made. Only 10 more skeins to use up in this weird color..
