I bought a speedlight today off of craigslist. I say brand new but I really mean "new to me" since I am at least the third owner of this device. Photographers tend to take care of thier equipment so to my untrained eye it looks brand new. I took a few photos of Alex and they turned out amazing.

Alex took a great picture of the basil plant. Even though it looks normal and basil-y, this picture was taken at 11 at night and its as illuminated as full day.
In this photo, we were playing with bouncing the light off of the ceiling.
We started playing with alternative light sources but I couldn't match up the colors. I think it was a happy accident to create this kill-bill-esqe photo.
