I was cold when we visited the San Diego Zoo. It prompted me to knit something unusually warm for these parts. Then we took a bunch of photos.
The Scarf is shaped like this.

The pattern is an incredibly lazy one. I used size 14 circular needles and some super chunky thick and quick. The scarf took about 4 episodes of American Horror Story to finish.
Use a rib stitch. Cast on 20 stitches (~8 inches wide)
Rows 1 & 2 : Knit
Rows 3 & 4 : Purl
REPEAT until you've hit your height.
