5 mile Run

As you know, I am running the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon this June. I've got to, I've already signed up. Since the event is 22 weeks away, I decided to start with week 8 of the Hal Hidgon's marathon program. I am using the Novice Supreme one because even though I've ran 3 half marathons, that was back in 2009 and my fitness level is drastically lower now. I weigh less than I did at that time but I lack the building thigh muscles of my youth.

I am feeling a little queasy since Buffy kept me up all night, but my training program says to do a 5 miler today.

This was the plan.


It felt pretty good. It was raining a bit but I didn't get that constantly cold feeling I got last time I ran in the rain. I felt nice and refreshed, and I even got some sprinting in. I think this No-Gluten thing is really really working out for me.
