I know I’ve been skipping around with my Eat-at-home Challenge updates but there are just so many days where I fall into pattern and
eat exactly the same thing. I dip into my crock pot beans then eat a rice cracker and peanut butter recovery snack. Same-ol same ol, not much to say.
A notable moment today was when I broke down and ate a
cupcake after a cashier at lululemon snubbed me in the check out line. The pair of shorts were $50 for Christs sake, at least treat me like I’m worth a damn when
I’m trying to buy them. Anyway, Alex and I spent the whole cupcake episode
debating on whether or not this is cheating our 100 day Eat-at-Home challenge.
It really isn’t only because we didn’t make enough rules
about this. Technically we weren’t eating an entire meal, and there are lots of
meals that aren’t eaten at home but with grocery food. You know, like at lunch
at work. But yeah, we decided that it totally wasn’t okay. This is why it’s a challenge,
right? From now on it won’t be okay.
