Today was another long day of new culinary experiences. I want to make sure I am not wasting my money on all these new kitchen appliances so we made a point to use all of them today. That photo is a plate of uncooked pasta I made myself!
This morning we woke up and took all our fruit out of the dehydrator. This new crop has lemon, apple, honeydew, pineapple, and orange. I already ate all of the pineapple though.
I bought an artichoke last week when we bought the pressure cooker. We finally pulled it out today and shared the artichoke for lunch. We served it with melted butter. Alex put a single rosemary leaf in the butter cup before putting it in the microwave and the whole meal exploded with rosemary. We made the artichoke by steaming it in the pressure cooker high for 10 minutes with a natural open, in case you were curious.
I used this recipe here. I left my chia seeds at work so I followed the comments advice and used 2 eggs instead. It fell apart so fast. I just kept adding flour to keep it together. I used almost my entire bag. At least I learned how to use my new kitchenaid attachments.
