I went to Casey and Matts home this thanksgiving. Their home, family, and food offerings were beautiful perfect things. I rode up to Newport beach with my friend Francis. We had a full 3 hours of female bonding before the love fest that was Casey-Matts Thanksgiving Part. It was the best way I could have spent the holiday.
There were lots of vegetarian options. In addition to this beautiful roasted cauliflower dish, there was tofu, acorn squash, vegetarian stuffing, and tons of butternut squash.
I also took a selfie with my DSLR which I think takes some talent. I really like the way I did my did my makeup for the party.
During dinner I sheepishly asked if we could talk about things we were thankful for. It was super sweet. I was dork that started tearing up while I talked about what I was thankful for.
I am just so thankful for everything I have. I am thankful for people that invite me into thier house just like one of their family. I felt terribly exposed but closer to these people than I ever have. I am just so lucky to have friends!
