Its time to write about our annual Temecula wine tasting trip! As you recall, Alex and I try to visit Temecula for wine tasting once a year, and its about the fourth year we have managed to make the trip. You may even remember last year's delightful trip.
This year we went to Robert Renzoni, Briar Rose, and Danza Del Sol.

The first stop was Robert Renzoni. It really shaped up since last year. We ate a charcuterie on the patio among the humidifiers. There was live music and the water tasted like cucumbers.
Then we went off to Briar Rose. There was a storybook theme.
Briar Rose is the first winery I've ever been at that required reservations. They had the smallest itsy bitsy tasting room so I believe it. The bartender really took the time to explain the wines and they even gave us a bonus tasting. The grounds were quaint and lovely.
We ate tons of snacks to keep ourselves healthy like the seasoned wine tasters we are.
We snuck into the backyard area to look at the grounds. Briar Rose was in a more residential area of Temecula in my opinion.
Then we headed off to Danza Del Sol Winery. This is my first time at Danza Del Sol as well. It was far and away the most busy of the wineries we visited that day.
There were several wines I enjoyed at Danza Del Sol, and I ended up buying a bottle of a sweet white something. I ended up buying a bottle at Robert Renzoni as well once we doubled back to pick up our vehicle. Hopefully the wines will be delicious on their own when decoupled from the beautiful grounds and company I kept while tasting them initially.
We drove out and had dinner at the Habit on the way out in a last ditch effort to sober up for the drive home.
I can not wait for next year! I am hoping that one of these days we will make up to the central coast for a new experience.
