The Crucible (5.10d) / Mount Woodson
It was huge for me that I was able to come back and send the Crucible (5.10d), 2 years later feeling generally older and weaker. For the uninitiated, the Crucible is a 40ft positive beast sitting in the summit area of the Potato chip hike, right on the trail, surrounded by peanut gallery hikers.
The last time I attempted it I was considered the best crack climber in the group, and the first in line to be able to send it. I got about 75% of the way up, right up to the off width, and failed from exhaustion. I was able to climb it this weekend, with Kai and Robin, 20 pounds lighter, more confident, and with the gumption to fight through the pain and send even if it wasn't cute.

Kai did it !
We then headed back to Elsas Crack for a confidence builder.
We are afterall, just playing with Cams around here.
Photos on Elsa are beautiful!
