My fourth of july weekend as told in spur-of-the-moment iPhone photos.
I had a crazy exhausting fun 3 day weekend! My friend claire was visiting her family and friends in a week away from her home in Urbana Champagne Illinois. I haven't seen her for 6 months so I tried to spend as much time as possible with her.
I decided to work a few hours on friday morning despite Alex being off friday as well. I have been drinking the work-a-hol quite a bit lately. We decided to have lunch at Big Bang Sushi in Rancho Bernardo. They had these adorable little macaroon ice cream sandwiches that were adorable and delicious!
Claire was having a pool party, but I didn't feel like going for a swim. I wore my Peplum dress and it was so cute!
We went to a hookah bar afterwards until the wee hours.
The next morning we woke up late and decided to go to karl Strauss in RB for lunch. Alex got this awesome Date Sour and I got good old windnsea because its that time of year again.
I also got the gouda burger with a veggie patty. That is the best vegetarian option in the menu in my opinion.

I also had some pretty adorable patriotic nail art going on. I also had a pina colada gourmet lollipop.
Sunday was the last day of the NYX 40% off sale so I had to stop by Ulta on the way up to get some lip primer. My lipstick has never looked better.
Alex had octopus balls. I did not partake.

Afterwards we got ice cream at Hammonds ice cream parlor.
Not even exaggerating 5 completely random strangers complemented on me on my very yellow heels while we are in North Park. I should go down there more often :D
