1. My Dear friends Casey and Matt Shen tied the Knot since I spoke to you last. It was a beautiful Ceremony that I can't get over. I was disallowed from taking photos but here is Alex and I striking a pose for our own edification. I wore a hat.

2.I bought tickets to visit my parents in Central Missouri later this month. I will probably blog like crazy about that. New scenery, new experiences.
3.I beat 2048. I made a short post about that earlier last month. It was SO addictive. For a two day period I couldn't even keep focus on anything long enough to complete a sentance. It was a godsend when I beat it. I had to get my life back.
4.I met someone. Her name is Megan. We sat together at Casey and Matt's Wedding and I feel like we've bonded. I am very excited about this new relationship.
5.I went to Joshua Tree to go climbing again. I felt more confident in my abilities, but not in a strength or accomplishment sort of way. I made a lot of trad related accomplishments. You can see tons of pictures from that event here.
6.I saw gravity in Theaters. the whole going to the movies experience just came alive after that.
7.I went up to Torrence in Los Angeles to an American Vacuum Societys meeting to see a presentation by Angus Macleod. I loved it. It was a TON of driving, though. Thats my thumb in the photo below, haha.
8.I have been watching Mad Men Season Six on Netflix. Last season Don was happy, and I thought that was an incredibly strange departure for the show. This season it makes sense. His fall from simple happiness makes this low point lower than I thought it could ever be.
9. I went to a fancy wine and 6 course dinner pairing at Prorieters Reserve Wine Bar on Thursday night. I had the best taco I have ever eaten in my life. It was a portabello taco marinated in tomato juice.
10. I am currently listening to Daft Punk's newest grammy winning album. Is it just me, or is it like, not as good as some of their early stuff? That statement might be more hipster than normcore.
