Mama with her new ironing board cubbard ($5.41) |
Today I went around some of the local thrift shops with my mom.
It was a cloudy day. This morning marked the fourth time I went for a run in Sedalia. Thats how you know its an extra long trip. This mornings run was the first run that wasn't in below freezing temperatures, which was nice. I may have over dressed for the event.
We first went to Chelseas Antiques.
Then we went to a new furniture store I'd never been too.
Check out this hilarious antique game.
There was something that I found beautiful about this room, but I don't think I was able to capture that well.
My mom is SO happy with her purchase.
Its an ironing board AND cabinet. To make it super awesome there is heart cut out of the cubboard door.
There were hamsters in a small petshop near by.
Mama bought these rad milk porcilean bowls by McKee. It says Tom and Jerry on it like the Cat and Mouse.
The lady checked to make sure the bowls weren't cracked before we walked outta there.
Then we went to Papa Murphys to buy a make our own pizza. This is my last day in Sedalia!
